Cannabichromene (CBC)

A non-intoxicating phytocannabinoid that does not bind significantly to CB1 or CB2 receptors but interacts with TRP channels.

CBC is the third most abundant cannabinoid in cannabis. It activates TRPA1 and TRPV4 channels, which may contribute to anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Preclinical studies suggest potential antidepressant and neurogenic properties. CBC promotes neurogenesis in the hippocampus in animal models, though human data are lacking.
