Sunil Aggarwal is a palliative care physician and researcher who has been a leading advocate for evidence-based medical cannabis access, particularly for terminally ill patients. His work spans clinical practice, health policy, and research on cannabis in palliative and end-of-life care. Aggarwal has published extensively on the history of cannabis medicine, the regulatory barriers to cannabis research, and the clinical evidence for cannabis in cancer symptom management. He is a co-director of the AIMS Institute, which integrates cannabis and psychedelic medicine into palliative care.
