Epidiolex
The FDA-approved pharmaceutical formulation of purified cannabidiol (CBD), manufactured by GW Pharmaceuticals (now Jazz Pharmaceuticals). Approved in 2018 for Dravet syndrome and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome.

Epidiolex is a 100mg/mL oral solution of plant-derived, highly purified CBD in sesame oil. Its approval marked the first FDA approval of a cannabis-derived drug. In 2020, the FDA also approved Epidiolex for seizures associated with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC). Epidiolex is a Schedule V controlled substance. Its approval provides a regulatory template for future cannabinoid drug development.
