Meta-Analysis
A statistical technique that combines quantitative data from multiple studies to produce a pooled estimate of effect size with greater statistical power than any individual study.

Meta-analyses in cannabis research must account for substantial heterogeneity in study populations, cannabis products, doses, routes of administration, and outcome measures. Publication bias (tendency to publish positive results) is a significant concern. Effect sizes are typically reported as standardized mean differences (SMD) or odds ratios with 95% confidence intervals. The I² statistic quantifies heterogeneity between studies.
